This is one of the last fully original stories completed by the great Tezuka Osamu (Tetsuwan Atom, Black Jack – you know – the father of modern manga/animation) before his death (his next project, Ludwig B, was unfinished as was his attempt to retell the new testament – although he did go back and add a couple of volumes to older works like Vampire and Hi no Tori).
